Starting in 2026, Restauranthuset Bro will consist of the established tapas restaurant Bryt, as well as a brand-new dining concept inspired by French bistro culture. Together, we offer varied and delicious menus in beautiful surroundings by Brosundet in Ålesund, where we place great emphasis on quality, creativity, and excellent service. Our ambition is to play an active role in developing the culinary scene in our city,andwe work every day to create memorable experiences for our guests.
At Le Sund, we use local ingredients because we believe that the place is reflected in the flavor. Terroir, as the French say. The soil, the sea, the climate, and the people all leave their mark on the food. At the same time, we believe that many dishes are made even better with a touch of French cooking—and plenty of butter.
